John Simpson This Nick Robinson... Nick Robinson, has admitted regret over a high-profile confrontation with Alex Salmond during the 2014 Scottish independence referendum campaign, acknowledging that his use of the phrase "didn’t answer" was unhelpful and contributed to perceptions of bias.

Colin Brazier Hands up all those that are sick of ‘jolly’ Nick Robinson constantly laying into Boris Johnson? You’d think he was being paid by Graham Brady when the Tories were stabbing Boris in the back. The glee from Robinson was palpable. Cant defend BBC this time Robinson

John Simpson John Simpson and Nick Robinson both wheeled out to defend the indefensible and their own incomes. The BBC can no longer be trusted it needs defunding.

simon maginn Not sure what to think about this row between Boris Johnson and Nick Robinson. It’s like being caught between the Devil and the deep blue ‘C’. 🔵

Nick Robinson is concerned about editorial standards and mistakes!? Breathtaking hypocrisy from the toerag who lied to Scotland at every opportunity up to and including the purdah period before the 2014 independence referendum. You're all bloody hypocrites. You make me sick.

Jake Riley Victoria Freeman The Nick Robinson argument is to say “Johnson isn’t exactly a paragon of integrity so why should anyone listen to what he has to say”. Fine if Johnson was chairing a commission of enquiry into the BBC, but even if Johnson is a hypocrite it doesn’t mean he’s wrong.

David Yelland This is the beginning of the end Mr Yelland To defend deliberate political bias on the part of BBC News is the lunacy The age of doubling down is no longer holding Nick Robinson knows this about the politicians he interviews and yet too arrogant to look inward.

"We can & will do better" Is easy for long term BBC Propaganda Mouthpiece to say when it is against the law to not pay for him The most common reason for Single Mothers to go to Prison - Not paying for Nick Robinson's largesse Want an example of BBC Arrogance? Look no further

John Simpson Both can be true, John - but BBC doesn't help itself. Ironic you mention Robinson. It was his 'He didn't answer' in relation to Alex Salmond at Indyref that broke my faith in Beeb to be impartial. This was compounded by Trust finding for Nick when complaint was raised about it.
