A friend filmed this earlier today, just before we swam. It's a seal in the Thames near Trowlock Island (~68 miles inland!). We didn't see it while swimming but knowing something this big and powerful is in the water with you is a little unnerving. But also reassuring.

This week, I ducked out of my regular swims because of heavy rain storms.

Today, I have a stomach bug. I don't know what caused it, but Thames Water 💧 is probably off the hook.
