The longest bridge in Odisha over river Mahanadi connecting Gopinathpur-Baideshwar in Cuttack District is getting ready. Today @Krishan_Kumar09, Secretary, Works Department, Odisha, along with senior officers, visited the site and reviewed its progress. The length of the bridge is over 3 Km.

Chief Construction Engineer, Northern Circle, inspected the construction quality of 630m wide High-Level Bridge over Ib River on Jamapali via Jamera Road under PWD Jharsuguda. Pile caps & pier shafts have been constructed. The bridge is expected to be completed by early 2022.

Construction of a High-Level bridge over Jhanjabati River on Parvatipur Laxmipur Road is underway. Chief Construction Engineer & PWD Koraput team inspected the bridge, reviewed mix design & casting of the girder. Work is being expedited & expected to be completed by early 2022.

Works Department, Odisha team led by Er. Arun Kumar Sahoo, Chief Construction Engineer, Jeypore, reviewed construction quality of High-Level bridge over Nilabadi Nallah on Sansourapalli-Phulkona Road, Koraput. With 3 spans of 15m each, casting of girder beams for the middle span is underway.

Er. Tara Prasad Mishra, Chief Engineer, DPI & Roads, carried out a quality inspection of Godibandha - Kalanda Road, Angul District. The road, earlier functioning as NH-23, is being developed as a 2-lane road & is expected to be completed by April 2022.

CM Naveen Patnaik launched distribution of #BSKY Smart Health Cards in #Gajapati district which is set to transform the healthcare service in #Odisha. CM has also laid foundation and inaugurated various developmental projects in the district.

During the visit, CM laid foundation for a mega drinking water supply project worth ₹ 796 Cr. CM also inaugurated 36 development projects worth ₹ 23.42 Cr which include road, bridge, healthcare and sanitation projects.
