Lawyers do not pick favoured cases. Sunak's comments are damaging to public confidence in the Court system and the rule of law and not fitting for a prime minister to make.

Foreign students aren’t immigrants. They’re not on long-term visas, but visas limited to the time they’re studying. They can’t overstay without changing their visas.

They shouldn’t even be included in immigration stats.

I look at a LOT of opinion polling on immigration, and I just don’t think cutting the family rights of foreign students is something the country desperately wants.
