On the 6th anniversary of protests in 🇳🇮, the UK shares deep international concern about the human rights situation and growing culture of oppression. In February, I met Brendan O'Hara MP and others to discuss this and their report ‘The Silencing of Democracy in Nicaragua’.
Today marks 30 years since the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
We have a duty to remember the lives lost, honour the survivors and reaffirm our commitment to never forget.
