Appalled by the Israeli strike on a residential apartment in the densely populated Rafah in Gaza, which resulted in more children being killed.
 
We must stop this fighting immediately and bring an end to this conflict.

Important meeting with my dear friend 🇯🇴 Ambassador Dabbas on reducing tensions in the Middle East, getting more humanitarian aid into Gaza, addressing extremist settler violence in the West Bank and #PathwaytoPeace through the 2 state solution.

I spoke with Foreign Minister Bou Habib Mofa Lebanon this afternoon, on the situation in the Middle East.

The 🇬🇧 is working closely alongside our 🇱🇧 partners to de-escalate tensions in the region, whilst calling for an end to the fighting in Gaza.

Pleasure meeting PTI leaders, and congratulations to Omar Ayub Khan on his appointment as Leader of the Opposition. Important all MNAs work together on the critical issues Pakistan faces, starting with economic reform to secure Pakistan’s prosperity.

An effective Palestinian government for the West Bank and Gaza is a vital element for lasting peace.

I met Palestinian Authority PM Mohammad Mustafa to reiterate UK support as his government takes much needed steps on reform, and our shared commitment to a two-state solution.
