Today, the Government have yet again gone on the attack by singling out Disabled people as a burden on the benefits system.
Utterly untrue, but we continue to be the whipping community for ALL government economic failure.
Enough. This is just cruelty.

do you know what is unsustainable? footing an extra £975 a month in living costs just because you’re disabled. then work places being inaccessible and impossible, and said wages when earned not rising with cost of living.

Government unsustainable and needs change, say disabled people.

if your ‘advocacy’ for us surrounding the benefit system at the moment is only for “actually disabled” people then I don’t want it.

the idea is entirely based on ableism and the concept people must be lying or exaggerating, or that some conditions cannot be disabling.

No, no, no! PIP is there to support the additional costs for disabled people which it is £975 a month!!

Personal Independence Payment #PIP is NOT an out of work #Benefit
#PIP supports extra costs we known are incurred for #DisabledPeople and for having a health condition
Same applies to Adult Disability Payment in Scotland #ADP

Another day, another attack on #disabled people and on support with their cost of living. This time plans to replace #PIP with vouchers and even more #DWP surveillance. Just in time for local elections, in the hope that cruelty sells? #CostOfLivingCrisis
