Huge thanks to representatives from NHS, Okehampton Town Council and @NHSproperty for meeting and working with me on plans for the future of our hospital.

Key now is continued collaboration from all to ensure viable options for disused ward are developed. themoorlander.co.uk/news/home/1471…

Our Triple Lock means pensioners are £1,000 better off today than if pensions had risen in line with earnings.

And this week’s 8.5% boost increases pensions by up to £900.

We believe in providing a secure foundation for retirement, rewarding a lifetime of hard work.

I’m proud of Department for Work and Pensions investigators and Crown Prosecution Service for taking down this organised crime group who stole millions.

In 2022/23 we stopped £18 billion of taxpayers’ cash going into the wrong hands.

We are clamping down on fraud and putting fairness at the heart of our welfare system.

Today we’re uprating the State Pension by 8.5 per cent meaning pensioners will be £900 better off.

This comes on top of last year’s 10.1 per cent increase and our commitment to the Triple Lock.

Only the Conservatives are on the side of British pensioners.

🎯 NEWS: We've now hit our target of 150,000 more children benefitting from government childcare support this week.

But this is only the start, with thousands more families benefitting in the months ahead as we deliver the largest expansion of childcare in our country's history.

🚨Labour have finally admitted they would scrap our childcare plans.

This would cause huge uncertainty for working parents who are set to save £6,900 a year.

But yet again, they’ve refused to say what their plan is.

Only the Conservatives have a plan to back working parents.

⬇️We’ve slashed youth unemployment in half since 2010.

🇬🇧And youth economic inactivity is the second lowest in G7.

🏅But with my reforms, we’re helping even more young adults gain the financial and mental health benefits of work.

I’m grateful we are more open about mental health these days. It means many more people getting the help they need

But sometimes everyday anxieties are being labelled as medical problems, and that isn’t right

My reforms will change lives for the better

I agree with the PM.

Inflation coming down means we're on the right track.

The Conservatives plan has slashed inflation, cut taxes, and provided unprecedented cost of living support.

Our plan is working.
