Everyone wants their kids to do/be well. We all want to help them succeed. Encouraging & supporting your child is one thing, but removing responsibility, fighting their battles & overprotecting them is doing them a lifetime of disservice. Enabling kids turns into disabling kids!

Good☑️: Dad sets up Twitter profile for his prospect son, posts film and monitors communications with interested parties

Bad🚫: Dad posts from son’s Twitter and messages coaches, media and other parties assuming the identity/voice of his son

I have a lot of unpopular opinions. Life isn't always easy, and we're setting a whole generation of young people up for failure by teaching them to believe that life isn't a culmination of the decisions we make. We are responsible for our own success and failure.

Guys if you wanna be average or just a decent high school player, have the maturity to let your coaches and trainers know that. They won’t hold it against you I promise… they’ll just coach you accordingly and place more of their time and energy into the ones who wanna be great!
