Some photos from a 3 day tour to East Lincs & The Wolds with johnevigar. Pure quality throughout the 20+ churches, some redundant, some thriving, some facing a dark future. But all with a treasure of their own to give up. A great experience and superb guide, as always.

Several of my favourite butterflies - the Orange-tip, in the garden this afternoon. It's also one of my most popular print subjects. richardlewington.co.uk/album.php?id=2…

Spent the morning sowing arable seeds in & around the crops. Perhaps most pressing but overlooked aspect of is bringing back the flowers of ploughland. Cornflower is a personal favourite - not least coz those miniature shaving brush seeds :)
