Our first Willow Warbler of the year arrived this morning and was singing in the exact same place as our first this time last year. What are the chances it's the same bird!? Cambs Bird Club
More butterfly firsts for '24: a wonderfully scallopped comma and several speckled woods RSPB Hope Farm, which is always a great place to see a range of butterflies. Also, peacocks, small whites, and lots of cowslips. Lovely. BC Cambs and Essex
It's been a drizzly start to breeding bird surveys here this week but it was encouraging to see several pairs of Grey Partridge and hear a Corn Bunting singing already Cambs Bird Club Farm Wildlife
