Today, we dropped a 30ft banner to say fuck the Cass Review. Trans youth know what they want and need. It’s not being pathologized or patronised. It's accessing the support they deserve, whether safe housing, education or puberty blockers.

This is unconscionable. This will be deadly.

I once interviewed a trans woman who was able to stockpile estrogen by not taking their their dose before getting the blood test and telling their doctor they had.

This led to the doctor upping their dosage, and allowed them to build a good back supply in case of HRT bans.

What they are doing to young trans people in the UK is an absolute scandal - and history will recognise it as such. Forcing detransition, trying to wipe out trans.

I suspect a lot of people welcoming the #CassReport were sent the summary in advance and based statements off that, but when you read the actual report it’s quite different - pathologising, unevidenced, and authoritarian, in line with NHS England’s output of the last few years

🚨England to enforce ban on puberty blockers in the PRIVATE SECTOR, per The Guardian.

The CQC intends on enforce the Cass Report on licensed private clinics. This report is politically driven and inaccurate. Kids within England will be forcibly detransitioned because of this

Out of 3499 patients audited by the Cass Review, only 10 detransitioned and they only spoke to 2 to find out why. Once again, detransition is proven to be incredibly rare.

That's a detransition rate of 0.2% which is in line with several studies.
