When are we going to see the withdrawal of nearly all paediatric care because it hasn’t been subjected to the same standards of evidence #cass demands, or even been tested on children at all?

I’m ashamed of NHS England & the #cass review which is letting down some of the most vulnerable members of our society, with its extraordinary levels of bias & transphobia. You don’t have to be an ex-psychiatrist to know the mental health risks to trans folk of Cass are huge.

So sad to see this second trans suicide story today. My heart goes out to both families. These stories will keep coming. Trans youth need support and care, not vilification and denial of basic human rights. I’m so grateful to the parents for speaking up. This is why I am here.
