@BeijingPalmer KWO demands an apology from @BeijingPalmer. We do not find the comments funny, especially in the current context where 70,000+ Karen people are fleeing attacks by the Burma Army. KWO & @womenofburma are committed to a future where such ignorant, patriarchal thinking doesn't exist

That's not a joke while thousands of people are fleeing from their house and hundreds are killed in Karen State. @BeijingPalmer STFU and live a peaceful life in first world country.

Courageous health care workers fight the ravages of Covid in Myanmar while the junta fights them - hundreds arrested while even more evade outstanding arrest warrants, 7 medics murdered according to AAPP. You can't attack a pandemic AND health care professionals at the same time.

From Oct 8th to date, 13 civilians have been killed by Junta Forces in Sagaing Region’s Wetlet Township. More than 10,000 villagers had to flee from 15 villages in this town, and more than 300 houses have been burnt to the ground in 4 villages, RFA Burmese reports.

The junta's aerial bombardment on the KIO/KIA's event in Hpakant killed many people, including KIA officials and Kachin celebrities. Increased air strikes, some not reported, have been observed recently ‌and as monsoon recedes, the junta's air attacks have greatly risen.

This is the by far most brutal thing the myanmar junta has done to the civilians. Bombing a civilian celebration without any fighting happened. #WhatsHappeninglnMyanmar

Myanmar military is acting with impunity. From shooting a children’s school with armed helicopters to beheading a school teacher to bombing a music festival, SAC knows the world does not give any attention. We are living in hell.

The unspeakable horror of more than 50 civilian lives lost when Myanmar’s junta used air strikes to target a music event in Kachin. Let this be a message to the ASEAN foreign ministers when they meet this week: take decisive measures against a military regime out of control.

The horrific footage of the image in which three young children are helplessly crying over the body of their beloved father, who was killed by the shelling of the junta army, is going viral in Myanmar. Photo/CJ Credit Chindwin News Agency

Could the GOV.UK, which holds the pen in the UN Security Council on Myanmar, get back to its work now that their leadership is settled? We need to see action from the UN Security Council! Rishi Sunak UK at the UN 🇬🇧🇺🇳
