Last week, #XULACOP launched its #LouisianaCan initiative with a kick off event that brought community members and partners, students, and those affected with HIV together to find out the steps the COP are taking to end the HIV Epidemic.

Thank you to our friend Stephen Goudeau for the message that #LouisianaCan end the HIV epidemic and the encouragement to know your status. Reducing stigma around HIV is just one of the ways the #XULACOP will work to combat the spread of HIV.

Yesterday, students from the #XULACOP went to the state's capitol for HBCU Day at the Capitol! Along with representatives from other HBCU's across the state, these COP students met with government representatives to tell them all of the great work of XULA's COP!

Special thanks to Ms. Danitra Hawkins for helping to coordinate this year's pharmacy ball and to Ms. Sharon Aubert, who has worked tirelessly throughout the years to coordinate the ball and ensure we have one every year. We definitely had a ball this year! #XULA
