Fascinating - though not unsurprising - study showing that young children allocate effort if they believe they’re improving. Motivation can be so tricky to support, but a sense of success and progression/improvement appears so key for feedback practices.

Drove across London to take my son to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital with ophthalmic shingles. All sorted. How lucky we are to have the NHS and how utterly shameful that the Tories have deliberately run it into the ground. It is the government that isn’t fit for purpose, not the NHS.
