🇬🇧 It’s 🍩 Pastry week on the Republic of Fiji Military Forces 🇫🇯 Military Chef training course that started this week! Two UK 🇬🇧 Royal Air Force Chefs and one British Army 🇬🇧 will be sweating it out in the kitchen at QEB delivering training to 20 keen soldiers. It’s been a great start to the week!

Flight Sgt Justin Collings and Sgt Andy Hanson, chefs Royal Air Force are joined by Sgt Luke Sava, from 🇫🇯 Rakiraki who was recruited almost 20 yrs into 🇬🇧 British Army! The Chefs are delighted to be sharing their passion with Republic of Fiji Military Forces over 4 weeks. High Tea 🍰 1500 tomorr!

Now in Week 3, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Chef 👨🏽‍🍳course has gone around the world 🌎 in cuisines; bonded beautifully as a team and are preparing for a canapés event at the Officers Mess tomorrow. Starting the day 🎶singing makes everything better somehow…

🇬🇧 Royal Navy 🥊 Boxing team are here in 🇫🇯! With thanks to Cam Todd and The Fiji National Boxing Association. First fight was hosted at QEB Republic of Fiji Military Forces - this was a heart stopping afternoon of action and tremendous sporting courage. Next Fight event on Fri 01 Mar!

Thanks to 🇫🇯 COS Land Forces Col Draunivaka Republic of Fiji Military Forces for opening our logistic quartermaster course. We welcomed 🇬🇧 RLC WO1 Symon Ablitt to deliver a 4 wk course. I’ve enjoyed collaborating with CO Logistic Support Unit, Lt Col Tevita Biudole and OC Ordnance Coy Major Tupou.

Couldn’t resist a few more 🇬🇧 🇫🇯 🥊 photos. A great turnout from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces where we were privileged to join Commander RFMF and Senior officers. I was really taken with the sportsmanship and bond building between RFMF and Royal Navy. A lot of mutual respect. Was it 5 - 5?!

Glad to welcome 🇬🇧HMS Tamar back to 🌴 beautiful 🇫🇯 Fiji! Great to watch her come in with Republic of Fiji Military Forces Republic of Fiji Navy Officers of Guard including SLT Lorima Toga who trained at Dartmouth in 2017.

HMS TAMAR welcomed the RN Rugby 7s team on board this week. They are in country preparing for the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Tournament. They brought along their mascot, Suva the Shark, for a tour around the Ship. Good luck team!

Despite 🌧️ and much mud, The 🏉 Sports Afternoon 🏐 with 🇫🇯 Republic of Fiji Navy and 🇬🇧 HMS Tamar ships company went swimmingly! Amazingly the rain stopped briefly for pitch-side Afternoon Tea 🧁 🍰!

What an actioned packed few days! From hosting the British High Commissioner His Excellency Philip Malone and participating in the International Fleet Review, to leading the Royal parade and enjoying a sailors BBQ. A visit to remember. Thank you, Tonga 🇹🇴 ⚓️
