At 0820 BBC Radio 4 Today broadcast 2 interviews on calls for an LGBTQ+ boycott of Eurovision Song Contest due to Israel’s entry, without anyone mentioning either (a) Israel holds the only Gay Pride parade in the Middle East and (b) Hamas, and its sponsor Iran, execute people for their sexuality.

Azerbaijan is currently committing ethnic cleansing against the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan was represented in Eurovision this year by singer FAHREE, featuring Ilkin Dovlatov.

No one is hounding FAHREE. No one is besieging his hotel. Noa is right: double standards.

The Green Party have repeatedly failed to take action to stamp out antisemitism in their party & to remove antisemites from their ranks.

We first warned The Green Party about this last year. Sadly, we've had to write again. There's nothing progressive about protecting racists.
