Our kids are not OK. Rates of mental health problems rising. Very difficult to access a trained mental health professional to help them. Sad that our kids have to make do with mental health apps while they wait.

Why do we define the clinicians who deliver a major % of the care in large ambulance, first aid, and emergency health organisations by what they are not (non-HCPs) instead of what they are (Trained Emergency Healthcare Workers).

I'm hearing about #medicare urgent care centres that were closed today despite getting $1Million/year payments to be open 365 (almost $3K per day). Meanwhile actually GP practices get joke-level incentives from PHNs to open after-hours, that don't even include Saturday mornings.
