They want to use PAs to the very edge of what’s legally defensible, regardless of risk to patients or any national ‘guidance’.

This shows that employers cannot be trusted to determine a genuinely safe scope for PAs.

They will need to be forced to.

Has anyone ever been taken to action over this? It would seem petty of a college to ping a doc who’d left by clearly indicated year of fellowship eg MRCGP(2007)
