Mark Butler MP UCCs cost taxpayers $250 per presentation. And seeing as only 1/2 of those report they'd go to the ED; it's actually $500 per prevented ED presentation. Meanwhile the GP medicare rebate is less than $45. Doesn't seem like great use of money.
