I want to strongly support and echo this message from the Minister.

The Measles vaccine is safe and effective. Vaccines really do work!

In a HC system that is already struggling, the last thing AB needs is an outbreak of a preventable highly transmissible virus.

Stop. You’re literally wrong. You have no clue what matching to family medicine means

Most of these MDs will work in a non 1o care envt. How do I know this? Bc I literally teach them. They’re seeking clinical opportunities where they are paid enough to pay back their $150K debt.

If I got paid this much for my panel size of about 1000 patients I’d be getting a raise.
I’m 10 years into practice and still 6 figures in debt. I’m so tired of being undervalued.

In 23y of practice, after 14y of post-secondary ed, I've never had that high an income for my 1000 patients despite working 50+ hours weekly. And recall, my overhead comes OUT of my income. And recall, family docs have NO pension, benefits, vacation.

For me this sign tells me everything I need to know about emergency health care in British Columbia.

Simply incomprehensible to me that BC is one of the few provinces not sending a representative to CAEP National Summit on Emergency Health Care.

Why not?

Tell that to my rusty 2005 Subaru.
It does seem that Liberal Party are really trying to alienate every voter out there.
Not a good strategy folks.

The National Forum on Emergency Care should be interesting. It's certainly timely. EM:Power is quite an interesting report, with some great recommendations. caep.ca/wp-content/upl… via CAEP

This is how physicians feel about how our Fed (and Prov) govt’s signal they value physicians.

Market: docs most scarce HC resource globally
Govt: nah we don’t value them enough to invest in retaining them.
Market: 25% of Canada has no FM doc
Govt: we will TRY to poach more

Minister Valdez would poach MDs from other needy nations and her government would deem my 15 year old car makes me the 'absolute wealthiest'. Shocking words from the Minister of Small Business. Rechie Valdez Chrystia Freeland CanadianPM Canadian Medical Association Dr. Kathleen Ross

Societal lack of appreciation for the role of physicians and the training and responsibilities it entails I find very demoralizing.

Yes. The future of primary care should be efficient and effective team based care. Teams should be coordinated by a primary care physician.

This is the future.

Alberta is veering towards the past.
