Mike NHS England Stroke Association The Leng review So extra money for trusts to employ PAs but not Drs? Wes Streeting we figured as much. This is dreadful. Looking forward to the day the media wakens up and the public discover what has been going on.

Bit of a coincidence, isn’t it? Labour say too many people are diagnosed with anxiety and depression—then bring in the 4+ rule, which cuts more people with anxiety and depression from PIP than any other group. Almost like the policy matches the prejudice.

Psychological Abuse Matters (@psychabusemttrs) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We shouldn't measure abuse in cuts and bruises - psychological abuse can be just as harmful. Pushing people into trauma can make victims take their own life. Adequate support is needed no matter how much authorities minimise abuse that isn't physical.

Keir Starmer Fantastic work! I’m disabled & rely on PIP. I can no longer work, or afford to drive, but at least it’s reassuring to know there’ll be a decent bridge for me when I can’t afford to exist & my MH is completely broken. Dodgy cuts/policies aren’t just annoying, they’re dangerous.

Could somebody explain to me how a 1st year PA student (who has never stepped foot in primary care before ) is able to ‘diagnose’ pts in a GP surgery in her OWN ROOM without being directly supervised by a GP?

Mental health claimants are 2.4x more likely to be rejected under PIP than they were under DLA. Labour keeps pushing that mental illness is “over-medicalised” and folk “overclaim.” So when they say they’re changing PIP forms, that’s NOT good news. #WelfareNotWarfare #TakingThePIP

Slashing disability support will plunge thousands into destitution. Waves of Conservative cuts left our welfare safety net in tatters. 75% of foodbank users are disabled or in a disabled household. The answer isn’t piling more cuts onto the most vulnerable. I’m voting NO.

I’m Voting No to: ◾️£7 billion in disability benefit cuts ◾️Driving over 400,000 people into poverty, including up to 100,000 children ◾️Impacting 3 million families, including 700,000 already in poverty These cuts will destroy lives. MPs must vote against.

We need a welfare system that supports, not punishes, people when they need it most. Disability benefit cuts will deepen hardship and inequality across Wales and the UK. I’m voting NO.

As the parliamentary bill on #DisabilityBenefits cuts follows today’s ‘urgent questions’, here are my urgent questions for the government. #TakingThePIP #WelfareNotWorkfare

It looks like some 400 Labour MPs will vote YES to cruel disability benefit cuts, They are wither brutal or cowardly. This Labour Party has failed.

Brian Leishman (@brianleishmanmp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I did not become a Labour member to impoverish vulnerable people. The proposed cuts to welfare should be rejected and the government should focus on improving people's living standards and creating a society that looks after people.

Steve Witherden MP (@switherdenmp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The Government published its UC & PIP Payment Bill today. Wales already has the highest poverty rates among disabled people in the UK - this will push them deeper into hardship. We wrote to the DWP urging the cuts be abandoned. I will be voting against this Bill.

The disability benefits cuts introduced by the government today are not positive reforms to welfare, but a dangerous step backwards. Hundreds of thousands will be plunged into poverty. There is no financial case, nor moral case for these cuts. The government must drop this

I won’t support any cuts to PIP. Over 40,000 people in Bradford rely on it — disabled people shouldn’t pay the price for decisions they didn’t cause. We should fund support through a 2% wealth tax on the super-rich, not by stripping away lifelines from those who need them most.

Richard Burgon MP (@richardburgon) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We are being asked to vote for a Bill which will mean “An estimated 800,000 current and future PIP recipients will lose an average of £4,500 a year, according to a government assessment.” No way. I will be voting against. These cuts need to be stopped. news.sky.com/story/battle-t…
