Great to see the first new Alstom UK & Ireland Class 730 train to operate on the Birmingham New Street today and to bump into some of the colleagues from West Midlands Railway & Network Rail who’ve made the operation of the longer 6 car Aventra trains on this route possible

This is a blatant lie Michael William

For most of this century, the UK was the biggest beneficiary among the 27 countries in the EU. Measured by GDP per capita growth, unemployment and superior debt, equity and currency valuations, Britain was the perennial leader until

More Brexit pain 😩

🍷 Majestic Wine boss slammed the new post-Brexit alcohol duty system, warning it will cost both businesses and shoppers more money.

🍷 Red wines could rise by over 40% next year after the government ignored calls from the wine industry to scrap complicated

It is amazing that in all the budget commentary almost no attention is paid to Brexit costing £40bn of lost annual tax revenue. The OBR, Goldman Sachs, Tony Blair Institute and the Centre for European Reform all estimate lost output at a minimum of 4%GDP. It’s the original sin.

The original TGV design & orange livery really stand up well in comparison to the new “TGVM”
The M has clearly been “designed” but is crying out for a new livery to show off (hide?) its curves & angles
(Starting with a black window surround from the front around cab side window!)

Hey Rishi Sunak this is how started
Within seconds of publication these MPs got death & rape threats. One had to have armed police protection. Many caved in to threats & abuse & didn’t vote as they wanted to.
Parliament & a compliant media let the rot set in

The UK is falling apart.

Austerity, Brexit and Conservative policies are the reason for that.

Right wing press supported those things.

They are funded by the very people who destroyed the UK, so they don’t want you to know the truth.

That’s why Byline Times travelled

Incredible to see just how little coverage there is of this in the UK👇

You bet, though, Sunak will soon be claiming fewer crossings all down to him

It's not looking good. This is London-Edinburgh for Monday. All these trains would have been £87 (refundable, with far greater flexibility) before the 'simpler fares' trial (remember to add £20 to the air fare for train London to Luton + £5 for tram from airport into Edinburgh):

Our system of 'democracy' has been set up by the rich for the rich

The system is built to encourage good 'little' people to fight other 'little' people

Division and distraction.

Look over there while we get on with helping ourselves to your cash
