It’s not targeting. It’s called upholding professional standards and ethics. This IS what ACTUALLY makes you a professional. You must abide by a code of ethics that is not decided upon by the government but the profession itself. If you don’t like the rules, find another job.

Safe wheeling lanes are good for business. Just ask a business district that has one. #bicycle #yycbike toronto.citynews.ca/video/2024/10/…

It’s shocking how much space in front of Toronto Pearson is devoted to highways - I’m happy to fly over in the UP Express & get downtown faster than driving for 1/4 the cost of an Uber! Still, if this ‘place’ is going to be a major new transit hub, lots of changes are needed.

Calgary seems overly dependent on 311 crowdsourcing issues from residents who are tired of 311’ing everything. My suggestion is bylaw should be issued e-bikes and begin regular patrols of pathways and in the process they’ll discover where the problem areas are. 👍

We know that #bikelanes save lives, but can good data help save #bikelanes? #Bill212 may allow the Province to remove existing infrastructure, so help protect people who ride bikes & read key info from Cycle Toronto here: cycleto.ca/ilovebikelanes #BikeTO #TOpoli #OnPoli

Ever follow a restaurant reviewer who critiqued a restaurant, but didn’t eat the food? Me neither! Yet this person wants you to take his critique of a bike lane, without actually riding it on his bicycle. Strange. 🤔

The fact that the 401, 400, DVP, QEW, Gardiner (and many more) are regularly a bump-to-bumper standstill, and that none of them have bike lanes, should make it clear that bike lanes and bicycles are not the problem. #TOpoli #ONpoli #BikeTO

“peace officers the authority to ask for proof of age from riders to prevent misuse of the free-fare option for people 12 years old or younger.” Kids under 18 can board a domestic flight in Canada without ID, but not transit. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca… cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

"Doug Ford says only 1.2% of Torontonians commute by bike. That's not true." Great work by Jack Hauen explaining all the key data we need to know about cycling in Toronto - Thanks for citing my maps! thetrillium.ca/news/municipal…

It seems like Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 is going to introduce some type of item that outlines the city's response to our local democracy being overridden. There must be firm resistance to Bill 212. If the province gets its way, no municipal decision is safe: transit, sidewalks, housing.

Prabmeet Sarkaria Oh cool! We're using short clips to justify removing infrastructure? Neat! Here's a video of an empty Lake Shore Ave on a Saturday afternoon. Better rip it out! (I didn't even use taxpayer money to make this one!)

Thanks to Not Just Bikes for adding their voice to the resistance against Bill 212. “Decades of research has shown there is no solution to car traffic except viable alternatives to driving.” Watch the full video on YouTube: youtu.be/KgFCQ7jEZxI
