Hot off the press! We have developed a non-carben(oid) approach to highly-substituted cyclopropanes. The key step is the ring-contraction reaction (i.e., quasi-Favorskii rearrangement) of tertiary α,α-dichlorocyclobutanols. Congrats to Nicole and the team! pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
