It’s my birthday today… not quite the surroundings I expected but the nurses made me a balloon from a glove and my children brought in a tiara 😂 hopefully kidney stones pass today otherwise op tomorrow 😬 NHS staff have been going above and beyond #NHSHeroes 💙

Finally home after an unexpected 4 day stay in Nottingham city hospital. Asthma flare up due to influenza, which developed day after chemo. Doctors, Nurses, Health care assistants catering cleaning staff were amazing. Can't thank them enough. #NHS #nhsheroes

I got home at 4am after my dad was admitted to hospital. They will keep him in for a day or two as there’s a danger of a chest infection if he doesn’t breathe deeply enough. I spent the afternoon with him. Officially exhausted! But #ThankYouNHS #NHSHeroes
