Today is the annual PostNL engineering day - an internal conference by and for PostNL's engineers. Here is Selçuk Şaşoğlu in action - sharing how evolutionary architectures will help you maintain applications in an unpredictable world.

One of the final sessions at PostNL Engineering Day. Luc van Donkersgoed and Stefan Todorov talking about Onion Architecture. I can clearly say that it was the best onion I've ever had!

At AWS Community Day Türkiye 2024, we had the opportunity to hear from Selçuk Şaşoğlu! ✨ His talk on "PostNL: IoT at Scale with Serverless Evolutionary Architectures" provided a fascinating look into how serverless architectures are evolving to support large-scale IoT

My colleagues Çağrı Çakır and Özge Kavalcı wrote an *awesome* blog post about their IOT solutions - tracking almost 400k assets and processing billions of daily events with Apache Flink. THIS is the kind of hardcore infrastructure we build at PostNL! aws.amazon.com/blogs/big-data…

.Selçuk Şaşoğlu and I are building an OTel demo for PostNL. One function generates random events and sends them to an SQS queue. Today I went completely overboard and rewrote the entire thing to onion architecture. This is what overkill looks like. It does create pretty graphs though.
