We're delighted to announce a new world-first study to screen 20,000 adults to find those at risk of #Type1Diabetes opens for recruitment TODAY📣 An at-home finger-prick blood test will allow research teams to spot people who have a high risk of developing type 1 in the future.

The T1DRA study, led by Kathleen Gillespie at The University of Bristol, is screening adults in the UK aged 18-70 for Type 1 Diabetes. Funded by the Helmsley Charitable Trust and in collaboration with Diabetes UK and elsadiabetes. Find out more here - t1dra.bristol.ac.uk
