Just back home to a review copy of the new WILDGuides 'Larger Mammals of South America' from Princeton University Press @princetonupress.bsky.s—that's still 420 species larger than cavies / smaller opossums. Impressive effort to fill a vacant field guide niche. Princeton Nature #PUPintheWild

Have you seen this bird? Curlews that were headstarted in 2021, 2022 and 2023 might be returning to Norfolk and surrounds to breed! 😃Please report any Curlews you see with yellow leg flags 👉 curlewrecoveryproject.co.uk/report-a-sight… #Ornithology #BTOScience #Tracking #ConservationScience #Curlew …

A very clear response from Tony Juniper and Natural England about their role in this process. The process is quite clear, it's based on statute. And by the way Norfolk County Council have known about the bat issue for 10 years....
Having signed a letter attacking Natural England, I suggest my MP George Freeman MP FRSA might like to apprise himself of the facts and issue a statement in support of our statutory institutions. Constituents have grown weary of such party political shenanigans. twitter.com/TonyJuniper/st…
