It’s as if none of the work on sustainable economies ever happened. Starmer bangs on about “growth” but growth of what, for whom, at what cost? Not all growth is good & as scientists concluded last week “In a world of finite resources, unlimited growth is a perilous illusion”.

Good; but then why is the Govt doing so little to actually address climate impacts? The Govt has a mission on decarbonising electricity; but has no mission for protecting us against these impacts. >There needs to be a 6th mission: Of protective climate adaptation.< RT to agree.

I’ve been called a communist many times in the past few days, because I oppose Trump. But the people levelling this accusation are perfect Soviet commissar or Chinese Red Guard material. All dictatorships are alike, and all are sustained by blindly obedient loyalists.
