No more excuses. Politicians need to tax wealth + use the money from Britain's super-rich to invest in climate action + our crumbling public services. Do you agree? Sign here via Green New Deal Rising: gndrising.org/campaigns/no-m… gndrising.org/campaigns/no-m…
We need to rewild 30% of the planet to restore nature & protect our wildlife, but Britain is falling behind. So I've signed this new petition calling on one of our biggest landowners - the Church of England - to rewild it's land. Join me? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/prom… via 38 Degrees
All very fine but the simple fact is there is a limit to growth on a finite planet The Club of Rome were always correct but the fossil fuel lobby carried on & now we hover on the brink of disaster & may learn not much use being rich on a dead planet . #degrowth #XR
Brilliant covers all my thinking maybe someone should buy The Labour Party a dictionary what is it they don't understand about the meaning of #Change ? For sure it isn't what they're delivering!
The awesome Robert Macfarlane speaking at the Right to Roam The Stars are for Everyone rally ‘It’s a tragedy that we’re having to fight against the extinction of access rather than for the extension of access… Labour need to make good on their earlier pledges of a right of responsible access”
Not sure how they could be more clear: “The future of humanity lies in the balance” & we need “an ecological & post-growth economics framework that ensures social justice”. Report should be ringing deafening alarm bells with governments around the world academic.oup.com/bioscience/art…

George Monbiot Absolutely! Plus, far too many weakly politicised voting solely on their fears/emotions and zero political knowledge wrapped up in arrogance. Starmer, Farage, Trump, Tories. The list is endless in how much corruption alongside oligarchs, who run the rw mainstream political media.
