Weighing up tonight's debate. If Michel Barnier replies and denies bad faith in threatening food supplies to N Ireland, then vote against the govt. If he doesn't, it shouldn't just be one side that respects international law. Over to you, Michel.

So Brandon Lewis on breaking the law. @ipsauk states "MPs may only claim for expenditure for parliamentary purposes". You claimed on days that you Tweeted as Chair of the Conservative Party. Have you broken the law and would @ipsauk be complicit if they did not investigate?

Can someone help me understand? SAGE reps talk about dexamethasone and clinical outcomes. Weren't they telling us earlier about extrapolating death rates along the lines of the previous peak?

Just bought my last 3kg of Irish beef if Leo Varadkar 's contribution to Brexit runs its course, resulting in huge tariffs. Perhaps the last bottle of French claret too if Emmanuel Macron has his way. Love the Irish and French people but not their politicians.

Fascinating to see yet another "authoritative" article about how Brexit voters were old and uneducated. In 1950 3.4% entered higher education compared with over 50% recently. Galling to think those, like my father who was an army Sergeant before his 19th birthday, are demeaned.

Good luck with that. My father was born a day earlier and died a week later. Someone will be devastated to have lost such a memento and will be delighted to be reunited.

#nufc This lawyer is doing himself no favours for future employment. Pulls out the wrong red file, has to search for items that should have already been typed out. If Darlow got a yellow for time wasting, he deserves a red with automatic suspension from the next hearing.

#nufc Was there just a hint that they are learning from friendly golf matches and proposing an "honourable draw?"

#JamesBond007 As Quantum of Solace is reshown on ITV4, Aston Martin must be peeved that an Alfa Romeo can keep up with an Aston and both must be peeved that a Land Rover Discovery can keep up with them both.

A reminder that the social care proposals are back in front of the Commons, lost in a Monday night debate. A view from before: rexn.uk/2021/09/09/hea… Plenty of sycophancy in the House but the thinly disguised subsidised wealth insurance can be seen on parliamentlive.tv

A thought, How do you pronounce OUGH? Remove the last T from thought gives you though. Then to remove first H gives you tough, like rough, to which adding back in a T makes it trough. Adding a HO would be thorough, rhyming with borough, which losing an OR, makes it a bough.

So The AA you fail to respond to private messages, why not go public? If an AA driver reverses into a member's stationary car, tries to blame the member, cracked a bumper whilst passing it off as "a scrape", what is your advice? Should I they call out the AA to get them home?
