Millions of renters urgently need support but the small print of the Government’s plans raise serious questions. There is a real danger it will leave tenants exposed after building up debt through no fault of their own. Renters should not lose out because of this crisis.

In 22hrs a new chapter for the Party, our movement, & the country will begin. One based on facts, values, optimism and openness. And that eschews factions, intolerance, division and conspiracy. Let’s all get behind it and rebuild Labour to the most powerful force it can be! ✊

First good news for some time. Congratulations Keir Starmer who can bring back intelligence, principle, judgment - all essential for #Labour to be of service to the country. The Corbyn years brought terrible shame and monstrous defeat. The clearer the new start the better.

Rightio, Twitter. Which of you are going to take the plunge and join The Labour Party now we turn the page and have the brilliant Keir Starmer at the top? We still need anyone who wants a proper Labour government to get involved and help rebuild the party! #RejoinRebuild

This is great news for anyone who wants to part of #rebuildingLabour as a credible election winning force once again! Well done @ProgressOnline and Labour First

Completely right to welcome back those that desperately wanted to be part of and fight for Labour, but just couldn’t endorse the party’s response to AS or Brexit. We’d love to see the likes of Louise Ellman Luciana Berger ALASTAIR CAMPBELL come back and strengthen the party again!

Terribly sad news. All the country’s thoughts are with the Prime Minister and his family during this incredibly difficult time. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-521926…

The goal of Project Rebuild is simple - rebuild and reenergise the Labour Party to win, win and win again. We 💯support Keir Starmer & Angela Rayner in leading this mission, and hope to draw together & organise support new and old from across our brilliantly diverse movement.

I fully support the Government’s decision to extend the lockdown. The priority now must be to ensure we see a ramp up in testing, that staff get the PPE they desperately need and more is done to protect our care homes from the virus.

A really emotional moment. Coronavirus has shown us who our key workers really are. When this pandemic is over we can't return to business as usual. They need proper pay, good working conditions, and a vision of a better society. #NeverForgotten
