ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ತುಳುವನ್ನು 8ನೇ ಪರಿಚ್ಛೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೆಂಬಲವಿದೆ. 18 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾಷಿಕರಿರುವ ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಿದೆ, ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಭಾಷಾ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾಗಲಿದೆ. #TuluTo8thSchedule

We've seen Tulu based place names being mis represented in #Kasaragod by Kerala PWD. Example- Permude as Permuda Kumble as Kumbla. To over come this, we need a strong governing body for Tulu. I request CM of Karnataka CMO Kerala PMO India to include #TuluTo8thSchedule.

Tulu is a Dravidian language spoken widely in two coastal districts of Karnataka & in Kasaragod district. A Comparative Grammar of the Dravidian or South-Indian Family of Languages called Tulu as “one of the most highly developed languages of the Dravidian family”.

ಕನ್ನಡ ನೆಲದ ಸೋದರ ಭಾಷೆಯಾದ ತುಳುವನ್ನು 8 ನೇ ಪರಿಚ್ಛೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬೆಂಬಲವಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟು ಭಾಷಿಕರಿರುವ ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ಸಿಗಲೇಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನೋದು ನನ್ನ ಒತ್ತಾಯ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಂಸದರು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು. #TuluTo8thSchedule
