Study finds big increase in neonatal circumcision in the US: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/32199703 J Pediatr Surg. 2020. It also finds substantial cost benefits when circumcision is performed soon after birth. Waiting until later greatly increases costs and risks.

A meta-analysis just published shows that #circumcision reduces #prostate cancer risk by 10%, even more when performed early in life. Since prostate cancer is very common, an enormous number of men would avoid this dreadful disease if circumcised. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34378513/

An analysis just published onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11… finds that if early infant male #circumcision in #Australia were to increase to 90% from the current low 18.7% this would result in 77,000 fewer cases of adverse medical conditions over the lifetime per annual birth cohort.
