Fantastic The Smile gig Scottish Event Campus last night, Thom Yorke Jonny Greenwood Tom Skinner Robert Stillman brilliantly showcasing the dazzling quality of the band's songs. Incredible to think we are only two years and two albums in. Superb Armadillo acoustics and loved the lighting.

Hugely inspiring to listen to Royal Academy of Music pianist Yingyin Yu and violinist Vincent Chu performing in the stunning St Marylebone Parish Church yesterday. Thank you Yingyin and Vincent! Great programme with Clara Schumann's Three Romances for Violin and Piano and Brahms' Violin Sonata 2.
An absolutely fabulous evening of the most wonderful music ever composed, Schubert's final three piano sonatas, brilliantly performed by paullewispiano.co.uk in the beautiful Birmingham Town Hall B:Music, responsible for Symphony Hall & Town Hall. The Andante sostenuto of D960 was remarkable.
Great way to round off a musical visit to Birmingham with a varied lunchtime recital Birmingham Cathedral by organist Ashley Wagner Ashley Wagner Organ beginning with Bach, followed by Howells, Scheidemann and Reger, and finishing with Jonathan Dove's Jonathan Dove 2014 piece The Dancing Pipes.
Great atmosphere at a sell out Acapela Studio on Friday with Katherine Priddy showcasing her beautiful voice and wonderful songs with @georgeboomsma (after his brilliantly accomplished solo set) and Harry Fausing Smith, the standing ovation at the end testament to a very special gig!
Very special to hear Schubert's remarkable final piano sonatas D958, D959 and D960 wonderfully performed by paullewispiano.co.uk again, on the penultimate evening of Chipping Campden Music Fest. Beautiful sound from the Steinway & Sons piano and acoustics of a packed St James' Church.

Amazing to hear Roger Sayer play the Interstellar score live Llandaff Cathedral 🏴 last night and share fascinating insights into his huge contributions to this sublime music at the heart of the film and his skill in adapting it for performing on one organ rather than six!

Wonderful weekend in the Potteries honouring John Daniel (Jack) Baskeyfield VC on the 81st anniversary of his remarkable heroism in Oosterbeek during the Battle of Arnhem and Operation Market Garden. Magnificent tribute from Port Vale Football Club and its armed forces community group.
The memorial service in remembrance of Lance Sergeant Baskeyfield VC pegasusarchive.org/arnhem/john_ba… at his statue at Festival Heights in Stoke-on-Trent, led by Port Vale Football Club Chaplain Father Andrew Swift and Captain Jason Peach, was hugely poignant at the going down of the sun yesterday.
Very special to have Lance Sergeant John Daniel Baskeyfield's Victoria Cross on display in his home city The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery from Staffordshire and Mercian Regiment Museum until Sunday 14 December.
