Bishop Mary has announced that she has appointed the Rev'd Canon Jason Bray as the next Dean of Llandaff.

Jason Bray is currently the vicar of St Giles, Wrexham and we look forward to welcoming him in July.

Everyone at the Cathedral was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of our Archivist John Kenyon who will be missed by our clergy, staff and volunteers.
We continue to pray for John, his wife Chris and their family at this sad time.

Of course, today is not just Ash Wednesday.... It's also the feast of Saints Cyril & Methodius 💙 The two brothers, born in Thessalonica in the 9th century, developed the Glagolitic & Cyrillic alphabets.

On Saturday we welcomed over 20 children to our Chorister Experience Day for the opportunity to find out about being a Chorister Llandaff Cathedral 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and Cathedral School.

A great day of craft, exploring the Cathedral and singing culminated in a great service of #Evensong .
