I read that PowerSchool paid a ransom to those responsible for the breach to delete the data. No way to be certain that they followed through and this will encourage bad actors looking for a payout. Districts should be weary of the #edtech companies entrusted with student data

Per Newsweek #student data as far back as 1995 was compromised in the breach. My profile picture is a parody of Rich Gay, PS’s previous Chief Security Officer, a position I believe he wasn’t qualified for. Rich thankfully retired late last year. newsweek.com/powerschool-na…
