i have a retirement account that's been hanging out in the ether since i was like 24 from my first job. i met with someone today to try to figure out how to wrestle it into my new retirement account and v nice rep was like: "i suspect your financial literacy is...low..." yes.

this class from Emily Clark is incredible - somehow it gets to the heart of a key question in religious studies while *also* teaching students how to ethically interrogate their own disciplines in a similar way. and, knowing em, it's prob been a ton of fun.
