What is this supposed to prove? The Ukrainian Waffen SS division was formed in 1943 and fought with the Nazis against the Soviet Union which at that time was an ally of the US, UK and Canada. This is astonishing Orwellian revisionism from Canada's envoy to the UN.

The headline for this CBC article is ridiculous...14th SS Galicia wasn't a unit "with Nazi ties." It was an actual unit under command of SS officers, part of the SS/Third Reich war machine. Soldiers of this unit swore allegiance to Hitler. It was a Nazi division.
