I think ticket offices at railway stations are one of those things that remind of what a society should actually be. Real jobs and real interactions , and community can sometimes be placed above shareholder dividends. It's a choice we can make. #SaveTicketOffices

I was glad to be able to join Cllr Tromans in meeting Cllr Corfield and the Highways Officer yesterday to discuss pedestrian safety improvements at Oldswinford Cross.

Great to meet up in Stourbridge, with local Labour candidates, including PPC Cat Eccles MP, to discuss my pledge to continue to rebuild community policing - by recruiting an additional 650 officers and my commitment to the new Stourbridge police base for 60 officers.

It was a pleasure to join Cat Eccles MP and fellow candidates in next week's local elections in welcoming Simon Foster to Stourbridge, and to hear the plans to open a new police hub in our town centre, which will be home to 60 community and response officers.
