British Steel must not be allowed to be closed by the Chinese. Steel is a strategic national industry. Labour must adopt Reform’s policy: Nationalise & invest in refurbishing these last 2 blast furnaces, for a positive, long-term primary steel future.

#IFSSatStat: The OBR’s forecasts for productivity growth since 2008 have historically been over-optimistic. Another downgrade to the productivity growth forecast in the autumn could cause a real fiscal headache for the Chancellor.

Farmer Ed Tate gives this very clear message to the Labour government and supermarkets. Farmers are not receiving a fair deal from either and therefore putting farmers’ livelihoods at risk and our food security at risk. It’s time for a fair deal for farmers.

The damage Keir Starmer has caused in less than a year is frightening. The fact that this shambles of a government might be in power for another 4 years is terrifying. Andrew Neil
