From inside Wellington Cathedral yesterday: 🧵 Our Canon Precentor, who is a tiny but steely woman, went out to politely ask the protestors if they would mind letting parishioners use the cathedral carpark. They relinquished a few spaces so our elderly could get to church.

Went and said thanks to some of our lovely workers at McDonald's and Thorndon NW today. The things they have experienced lately are not ok, hopefully a small gesture from some local unionists gave them a lift #Solidarity
