You can't have a caring culture if managers don't truly care. You can't have a #culture of respect, or one that emphasizes employee #wellbeing if all of that gets disregarded when managers feel stressed to perform. Take the words off the wall until you're ready to live them. #HR

Younger generations are demanding healthier work environments, relationships, & space to be themselves. This will always be scoffed at by older generations that were forced to sacrifice authenticity & their emotional health. Resentment must go somewhere.

#apprenticeships don’t hold the reputation of a ‘sexy’ #learning intervention, but I think there is still value to offer them as a business. What do others think?

Is there a trauma informed HR class or a mental health first aid class for HR professionals? Referring someone to the EAP doesn’t feel like enough these days. I want to be able to train managers on scenarios as well. All recommendations welcome! #HR #hrcommunity

Am I surprised?! No. Studying at university can be a rewarding experience, I am not convinced of the ROI though given the fortune you need to pay for the degree. #apprenticeships can be a ‘no-cost’ alternative, where learners gain hands-on experience as they *earn* money. #LnD

The dangers of perfectionism: You only write when your ideas are fully formed. You end up never finishing anything.
