Thanks for all the retweets - really appreciate all your help in getting a conversation going about how we can make museum cafes more sustainable

Museum Freecycle Trimontium Trust Museums Association Use fresh local grown/ produced foods with less transport miles.Sometimes heating is too high in cafes and it is uncomfortable to eat if too hot, turn the winter heating down in museum cafes. Often lighting is turned on when there is no need, daylight from windows in sufficient.

Museum Freecycle Museums Association A little flavour of our ethos- We make all our sandwiches in house and package in biodegradable packaging. We shop local where possible & our coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified.

Linda Ribeiro Museum Freecycle Museums Association Good morning Linda! Bacofoil & Willow's Choice are both options but both still relatively expensive compared to plastic alternatives. Still looking into whether they sell in on an industrial scale though :)
