Update: Regarding the officer involved shooting in St. Francois County, Missouri. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Timothy J. King, 58, of Moscow Mills, Missouri. King succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. MSHP Troop C

George T. Franklin. Franklin had multiple felony warrants for assault and probation violations out of Jackson County, Missouri. Members of MSHP DDCC and the U.S. Marshals Service KC Fugitive Task Force were able to track Franklin to a residence in Adrian, Missouri. ⬇️ 2/3

MSHP DDCC U.S. Marshals Service On August 28, 2024, with the assistance of the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and the Adrian Police Department, Franklin was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Bates County Jail.
