Troop H announces the results of a troop wide Occupant Protection Enforcement Operation conducted Saturday, April 13th:

- 28 traffic citations
- 11 seat belt citations
- 1 child restraint citation
- 1 misdemeanor arrest
- 64 warnings
- 1 motorist assist

Collaborated with Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and local first responders for a docudrama at Princeton R-5. We highlighted the risks of impaired driving. Grateful this was a docudrama and everyone returned home safely. Let's remember, that’s not always the outcome. #ArriveAlive

We assisted fire crews and the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office with tackling a large grass fire near Sugar Lake. Evacuations were necessary, & some residences sustained minor damage. Both lanes of MO 45 will remain blocked overnight. Stay vigilant in these dry, windy conditions.
