This is precisely the reaction I’d expect from El-Kurd & it’s awful. I do not think his politics reflect Mamdani’s, who endorsed & campaigned w/ a self-ID’ed liberal Zionist, calls Oct. 7 a “horrific war crime,” etc. But the fact that voices like this feel emboldened means: 1/
