On 1/24, there were 36 cases in eviction court. 20 of those evictions were at apts without Certificates of Occupancy (which are required by Rochester law for ALL rentals). If a landlord can’t meet basic living standards, they shouldn’t be able to evict. No C of O, No Eviction.

I’m on the City Planning Commission and this land use proposal comes through: a civil rights museum in Harlem headed by none other than Rev. Al Shaprton. The name of the proposal is One45 Museum of Civil Rights. Yes. YES! Except…all was not as it appeared… 1/

Yesterday, we stood with the LE2 families to say NO to the conversion of the playground into the parking lot. Ignoring calls from our ppl, sneaking around, & forcing their way into getting what they want - this is right out of the Chetrit playbook & happening in Two Bridges too
