Here's an #urbanprehistory contender for #tombtuesday . It's the #RomanoBritish Highfield Barrow in Hemel Hempstead, dwarfed by the new town. Unbelievably, in the recent past, cars have been driven over it, and plans submitted to turn it into a skate park, but for now, it's safe.

The #Tibblestone marks the boundary of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. It now finds itself on the verge of a Texaco petrol station. Despite its short stature, it was recorded as being over 8ft high when rediscovered. Perfect #urbanprehistory for #StandingStoneSunday !
